Parking Lot Expectations

Help us keep our Cedarhurst students, families and staff SAFE in our parking lot!

Please note that there is no parking before or after school in the parking lot!

Morning Drop-off

• Enter the parking lot in single car line to the Drop-Off zone (indicated with orange cones).
• This line will constantly be moving forward. 
• Move forward when the car in front of you moves up.
• When the line stops, have your students exit your car on the passenger/sidewalk side of the vehicle. 
• Students will then enter the building through the cafeteria doors.
• You may NOT park your car in the drop-off zone.
• Stay in line with the cars in front and back of you (do not pull out). Wait until the line moves forward to exit the parking lot.
• Exit the lot to the RIGHT only.

Afternoon Pick-up

At 3:15 p.m., we will allow cars to enter the pick-up lane (indicated with orange cones). Daycare buses and taxis will be allowed in the pick-up lane prior to 3:15 p.m.

• Enter the parking lot in single car line to the pick-up zone (indicated with orange cones).
• This line will constantly be moving forward. 
• Move forward when the car in front of you moves up.
• When the line stops, have your students enter your car on the passenger/sidewalk side of the vehicle. 
• You may NOT park your car in the pick-up zone.
• Stay in line with the cars in front and back of you (do not pull out). Wait until the line moves forward to exit the parking lot.
• Exit the lot to the RIGHT only.

• If your student is not outside when you enter the pick-up zone, you will need to exit the lot to the right as the line moves forward. Continue with right turns on 8^th Ave S, 136^th St and 6^th Ave S to return to the school pick-up zone.
