Based on public health recommendations, we intend to continue phasing in students to in-person learning on March 1. We are asking families with students in PreK-5 or our IAC program (K-12) to commit to hybrid or fully remote instruction by January 29. To do so, please fill out the commitment form below for each of your students in PreK-5 or our IAC program (K-12). If your student is in an IAC program in K-5th grade, please fill out the elementary form.

University of Washington Performing Air Quality Study

The University of Washington is partnering with Highline Public Schools and the cities of Seatac, Burien, Federal Way, Normandy Park and Des Moines in an indoor air quality study, focusing on ultrafine particles from aircraft, traffic and wildfire smoke.  Indoor air in our schools is filtered to current guidelines. This project will determine if there is a benefit from adding room-based air filtration to public buildings.
