Highline Virtual Elementary is an online option for students in kindergarten - 5th grade and provides engaging, innovating learning experiences. The school will be hosting an information session for interested families on January 12.

Highline also offers Schools of Choice, a variety of school and program options, each with a specialized focus to meet student interest and need. The application window for secondary schools of choice is open now and runs through January 31. See information night details.

In addition to comprehensive neighborhood schools which offer challenging coursework with electives to enhance students’ learning experience, Highline also offers Choice Schools, a variety of alternative program options for middle and high school students, each with their own specialized focus to meet student interest and need. There is also a virtual school for elementary students.

In November, the Highline community will be asked to vote on a bond measure that will continue our commitment to replace our aging school buildings with safe, modern learning facilities. School meals today look a lot different than they did when many of us attended school. Our school kitchen staff prioritize local ingredients and scratch cooking when possible. And, they work hard to create recipes that reflect the many cultures our students represent.
